Nick Schrock Valoroo: Entrepreneurship in the Bloodline
Entrepreneurship and relentless dedication have always defined Nick Schrock Valoroo’s founder. His family instilled this drive early:
-
- His grandfather built a successful auto mechanic business.
- His mother launched and ran a thriving photography venture.
- His father established a leading food brokerage.
This strong entrepreneurial lineage gave Nick the foundation to pursue his own bold path.
Early Pursuits of Excellence
By just 14 years old, Nick was already a sponsored professional inliner, one of a rare few capable of conquering a horseshoe 180 vertical ramp. Two years later, at 16, he launched his own skateboard brand and company — a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.
Sports further showcased his relentless drive. In high school football, Nick earned varsity status as a sophomore, then capped off his senior year with awards for MVP, Best Offensive Player, and Best Defensive Player. His commitment to excellence continued at Mount Union University, where he contributed to a Division III National Championship team.
Beyond the gridiron, Nick pursued martial arts mastery, becoming a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and winning multiple elite World Championships around the world.
Academic and Professional Foundations
Nick balanced athletics with academics, earning a bachelor’s degree from McKendree University and later an executive business certification from Harvard University.
After college, he began building his career as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual, where he guided clients in managing their portfolios. He later excelled in sales within the food brokerage industry, and then advanced into the technology sector with an ERP software firm specializing in event planning.
These diverse experiences sharpened his skills in leadership, sales, and client service — but it was his next move that would shape his future.
Nick Schrock Valoroo: Entering the Logistics World
Nick’s pivotal entry into logistics came at Flock Freight in San Diego. There, he managed teams spread across the United States and the Philippines, developing expertise in global talent management. This role lit the spark that would eventually grow into Valoroo.
Building Valoroo: From Vision to Hypergrowth
In 2019, Nick founded Valoroo with a vision to reimagine global talent for logistics companies. What began as an idea has grown into one of the fastest-scaling outsourcing companies in the industry:
-
- 30x company growth since 2019
- 70% average headcount CAGR

Valoroo’s success stems from living its core values every day:
-
- People First – empowering global talent to thrive

These values have made Valoroo a trusted outsourcing partner for brokers and 3PLs across North America, blending offshore and nearshore teams with technology like AI and Zero Trust security.
